Today, Guidestone Ohio needs your support more than ever. Life has been challenging, especially for our clients. One of my great concerns is for our children and families in need. Imagine the terrible situations our children and families have experienced. Ninety percent of those we serve live at or below the federal poverty level.
This past year our organization empowered over 16,000 children, young adults, and families throughout 22 counties in Ohio toward a more productive and fulfilling life. Your gift can help us:
- Provide literacy and life coaching skills to young adults making the transition to adult life
- Provide a safe haven to previously abused and neglected children
- Keep families together through counseling services
- Offer support services to our Medically Fragile Foster Care families who care for infants and children with major medical problems, handicaps, and developmental disabilities
- Teach parenting skills to parents in need of help
- Provide job training to young adults to help them escape the cycle of poverty
- Give food boxes to hungry children and families
- Provide clothing and school supplies to children living in our Residential Treatment center
