Recently, OhioGuidestone’s Workforce 360° program partnered with Lockkeepers fine dining, to offer young adults a hands-on training and introduction to various jobs in the restaurant industry. The Workforce 360° clients that attended the training learned about all the skills and work that goes into running a fine dining establishment and were able to work one-on-one with Lockkeepers Executive Chef, Alberto Leandri, who guided them as they created homemade lasagna and other house specialties.
“We are grateful to Lockkeepers for this opportunity to expose our clients to a professional restaurant setting and teach them skills that are essential to working in this field,” says Kiersten Watkins, Director of Workforce Development. “A special thank you to Chef Leandri for providing guided instruction and encouragement to our clients.”
