Richard R. Frank, President and CEO of OhioGuidestone announces the unanimous election of a new chairperson to its Board of Directors. Eric Pelander replaces David S. Zentkovich who served as chairperson for six years and remains on the Board.
Mr. Pelander, who has served on the 35-member Board for several years, is founder and managing director at Waterstone Management Group, LLC. He consults clients on growth strategies and operating models. Prior to founding Waterstone, he was Global Leader of Strategy and Change Services for IBM Global Business Services.
He looks forward to a renewed effort, which will continue to produce positive outcomes for Ohio Communities.
“This is an organization that provides a range of exceptional behavioral health, education and workforce development services. But it is not content with status quo. Rather, it is a team that identifies the biggest issues that are hurting children and families in our communities and finds a way to tackle new challenges. A heightened focus on addressing the opioid addiction plague and an expansion of child-parent psychotherapy services for young children who have experienced severe trauma are two areas of growth for OhioGuidestone.”
